Jennifer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with expertise in providing both short- and long- term psychotherapy to individuals and couples seeking to address a variety of issues and mental health concerns.
Jennifer started her career working in acute inpatient psychiatry treating individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, suicidal behaviors and self-harm. There, she developed specialized skills to support crisis intervention and management, deescalation and mental health stabilization. She has since spent the past several years in a local outpatient clinic providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and small groups. During her time in this clinic, she became certified in several of today's leading evidence-based therapies and honed her expertise in treating a spectrum of presentations, from every day stressors to more chronic conditions.
Jennifer also leads resiliency workshops through the country and is a part-time faculty member at the Boston College School of Social Work.
